Three Massachusetts high school seniors have been tragically killed in a devastating crash during a spring break vacation in Florida.
The horrifying collision occurred on Monday night when the teens' SUV slammed into a tractor-trailer that was conducting a U-turn on Highway 98 near Panama City around 9:28 pm.
The collision sent their vehicle careening across the median and into a wooded area.
Concord-Carlisle High School student Jimmy McIntosh was behind the wheel when the devastating crash occurred.
After first responders arrived at the crash site, McIntosh and fellow student Hannah Wasserman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Maisey O'Donnell - a two-time state diving champion - died later at Bay Medical Center.
A fourth 18-year-old from Concord-Carlisle High School remains in critical condition but has not yet been identified.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed McIntosh was wearing his seatbelt during the fatal crash, but investigators are still determining whether the three passengers were properly restrained.

The 19-year-old tractor-trailer driver and his passenger escaped without injuries, as reported by WCVB.
Concord-Carlisle High School superintendent Laurie Hunter confirmed the devastating news to the outlet on Tuesday.
'We are very appreciative of the outpouring of love during what is absolutely heartbreaking,' Hunter said.
'We also appreciate the wish to feel purposeful and not helpless.
'At this time, it is most appropriate that no action be taken to honor the students without the full consent of the families and appropriate support for so many young people facing unfathomable loss.'
O'Donnell was a talented diver who had already secured her place as one of the nation's best.
She had plans to attend the prestigious Williams College next year.
'It's a tragedy,' her devastated coach, Joe Chirico, told WCVB.

'The little kids looked up to her, the other divers looked up to her.
'It's a tragedy, that somebody at the top of their game, going to the best academic school, one of the best divers in the nation, was cut so short.'
Heartbroken friends described Wasserman as a 'bright light taken far too soon' in a GoFundMe campaign established to help her parents cover funeral expenses.
'Hannah was truly one of a kind: warm-hearted, kind, and always looking out for others,' wrote organizer Rex Riessen.
'She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.
'Whether it was a friend in need, a classmate having a rough day, or a stranger who needed a smile, Hannah showed up with compassion and care.'
